Her three years experience as a Radio Today Presenter, ensures that the content of her seminars and presentations offer benefits to the delegates, through interesting and important information that is relevant to their lives and their working environment. Public Speaking Engagements
Katharine’s public speaking career began Cape Town when she addressed the Health for Africa Convention in 1988. This was followed by other speaking engagements at Leseli in Maseru, Lesotho, the Second Congress of SA Physiotherapists Acupuncture Association in Durban, Rhodes University, Premier Food Industries, Camelot International Academy for Health and Beauty, Exclusive Books “Towards Enlightenment Exhibition” in Cape Town; to mention only a few.
Her reputation has spread world wide and she has in the past been invited to present a paper at “The World Congress of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine” in China and to represent South Africa at a congress of planetary “Light Leaders” in Texas. She was also invited to address “The World Congress of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine” in Canada in August 1995 and at the 3rd International Congress of Traditional Healing in Senegal in July 2004.
More recently she was guest speaker at the Tiragalo Business Consulting Executive Secretaries Conference, where she spoke on “Bringing Your Phenomenal Self to Work”, which was well received.
Business Experience
Katharine has practised predominantly in the field of health and healing, founding several national organisations and serving on training and ethics committee’s.
In her business career, Katherine has functioned as a free lance Public Relations Consultant, organising and conducting seminars throughout South Africa and neighbouring states. She worked in the television industry for a year, then as a features writer for Professional Beauty Magazine and currently hosts her own two hour programme every Wednesday morning from 9a.m. to 11a.m. on Radio Today.
She was nominated as a candidate for “Best Community Station Presenter” for the 2011 MTN Radio Awards.
